Music is an art form recognizable through the ages of life. It dawns back to the first rhythm and the first person to actually move accordingly. You can't tell which came first though, dancing or the musician who made it. I think there is a certain competition between the people who move to the music and the people who play it. The webisode Breezy Art brings up a point in this about the lines between "Dancer" and "Musician" and how he doesn't like to differ like other performers.

I personally entitle myself as a Dancer. As of last year when I went to see the movie Step Up 2 I became inspired to try and learn the moves, and by time Step up 3d came out I felt ambitious on finding a Dance Center to get even better. My favorite song to dance too was "Shake your pom poms" by Missy Elliot because of the playfulness in the song. Using a combined effort of Serena Lam, Youtube, and dance classes I am slowly becoming better and better until I hit the apex of my skill.
Musicians have always tried to incoporate dancing as a fundamental in moves and videos. But coincidentally my genre of hiphop dancing merely frowns upon incorporating Dancers and are actually just starting to ahve them in dance fad based videos. Therefore it is hard to tell which is the dominant side of music but noone seems to actually care aslong as it displays their emotions in a proper form.
